It's no use dropping salt into an ocean
To stop the sun from shining
Although you hope
That it would just stop
So you can lay in the cold cold dark
And just ponder about everything
How you want to take back everything
To go back in time
And maybe change the circumstances
But, every single decision you made got you here
So you brought this upon yourself
And you just hope that it won't rain
Even after you've seen dark clouds
Why do you do this to yourself?
It's useless, pointless, hopeless
No point in wishing
Fairytales only exist in books
Or in movies
Unrealistic expectations you set for yourself
Just stop hoping and wishing
Can't you see it's useless?
Can't you see you're hopeless?
